Firmware Release Notes

Project Origin

       This firmware is forked from Goshante firmware and is based on the PU2CLR firmware library, with additional features, tuning improvements, interface redesign, and extensive code-level modifications.

Release Overview

       This release introduces improved functionality, expanded frequency coverage, enhanced tuning performance, and multiple stability and bug fixes.

• Redesigned user interface and control system
• Improved overall system responsiveness and usability

Tuning System

• Integrated BFO into main frequency tuning for improved SSB operation
• Enhanced SSB tuning precision and stability
• Continuous SW coverage from 1710–30000 kHz

Frequency Coverage

• LW: 149–520 kHz
• MW: 520–1710 kHz
• SW: 1710–30000 kHz
• FM (Standard): 87.5–108 MHz
• FM (Extended): 64–108 MHz

Modes & Features

• Added CW mode with selectable LSB / USB sideband support
• Added AM/FM station scan functionality
• Added Dynamic RDS (up to 16 characters display with switchable information lines)
• Added Settings page with advanced receiver configuration options

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Fixed FM Scan bug
• Improved control responsiveness and encoder handling
• General stability improvements and code optimization
